Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book?

Cruises are often best booked 6–12 months in advance for peak seasons such as holidays, summer, and spring break, and 3–6 months for off-peak travel. Booking earlier can give you more choices for cabins, pricing, and group availability.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Travel insurance is highly recommended. It can help protect you against trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and lost luggage. Coverage and requirements vary, so review your policy carefully before your cruise.

Do I need a passport to take a cruise?

Passport requirements depend on your itinerary, citizenship, and the cruise line. U.S. citizens may be able to cruise on certain itineraries using a certified birth certificate and government-issued photo ID, while other itineraries may require a passport. Always verify the current requirements for your specific cruise before traveling.

What if I need to cancel or change my trip?

Cancellation and change policies vary by cruise line and booking. Contact us as soon as possible if your plans change. The earlier you reach out, the more options may be available.

Do you charge fees for your services?

Yes. A $50 Custom Trip Planning Fee is required to begin the research and planning process. This fee covers the time spent researching cruise options, creating personalized itineraries, and providing recommendations tailored to your travel needs.

If you move forward with your booking, the planning fee may be applied toward your final trip payment or used toward exclusive travel gifts, as applicable.

Can you help with group cruises?

Yes! Group cruises are one of the ways we help travelers enjoy cruising together. Contact us to learn about upcoming group cruise opportunities and how to get started.
